The second edition of the ESA BIC Poland Bootcamp, a pre-incubation program organized by Industrial Development Agency with the aim of stimulating innovation in the space industry and preparing for application to ESA BIC Poland, has just ended. From March 25 to April 10, 2024, 28 people participated in the program, creating 10 dynamic teams.
Once again, POLSA – Polish Space Agency was the strategic partner of the Bootcamp. Under the guidance of Foundation for Technological Entrepreneurship, the Bootcamp was a series of business workshops tailored to the unique requirements of the space sector and the ESA BIC Poland program.
A significant part of the Bootcamp took place online over five days and included intensive training sessions and individual mentoring meetings. Participants received guidance on refining their project ideas, building robust business plans, and understanding their target audience.
The highlight of the event was the Bootcamp Open Day organized with the support of the Rzeszów Regional Development Agency at Aeropolis – Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park in Jasionka. Here, participants had the opportunity to showcase their projects to a panel of jurors, ESA BIC Poland partners and fellow Bootcamp attendees.
With help from the ESA BIC Poland partners and Bootcamp mentors, these early-stage entrepreneurs have not only learned about business but also built relationships that will help them in the future.
