Technical and technological support will consist of on the provision of owned technical infrastructure and laboratory apparatus to incubated entities.
The Company’s state-of-the-art Research and Development Center (RDC) is equipped with advanced research apparatus, complemented by high-end technical equipment for laboratory and semi-technical scale production of high-quality foods in the sense of dietary supplements (capsules, tablets, powders, granules), special-purpose foods, as well as functional foods in the form of bars and liquid forms (ampoules/shots). This combination allows for a comprehensive and integrated approach to the research and development cycle, starting with the idea through analytical and process research and shelf-life studies, and ending with the development of manufacturing technology.
Incubated entities aspiring to create technologies and food products for manned space missions will be given access to OLIMP LABS’ technical facilities in the physical dimension as an opportunity to use the apparatus, simulation tools and testing facilities of the R&D Center infrastructure located in Pustynia near Debica.
The scope of the offered substantive support includes, among others, substantive consultations, creation of analyses, provision of expertise by selected experts and specialists in the following areas:
1) Technological:
Design work and activities supporting the preparation of new formulations or conceptual model of formulations in the areas of specialization of OLIMP LABS personnel:
– New manufacturing and storage processes for food and dietary supplements (e.g., development of new formulations and technologies for manufacturing functional foods).
2) Joint development of a technical feasibility model for a given idea or a selected part of it – expert support in the specialization topics:
– Development of innovative packaging formulations with better functionality under different environmental conditions and from the consumer’s point of view and study of their applicability to new products
– Transfer of know-how on the principles of creating modern solutions for the high-quality food sector (e.g., creation of pilot configurations of complex food solutions).
3) Experimental and R&D:
– Industrial research and development work in the area of safety, quality and efficiency of existing and new or improved food products.
– Conduct R&D work in the development of innovative packaging solutions, especially in the areas of storage methods and quality monitoring.
– Personalized food products with consumer-set parameters and nutritional properties.
