The third edition of the pre-incubation program is coming this September!
Ready to take your first step into the space business?
ESA BIC Poland is launching the third edition of its pre-incubation Bootcamp – an intensive and practical program designed specifically for early-stage teams who want to explore the commercial potential of their space-related ideas. Whether you’re building a product or service using satellite data, applying space technology in new industries, or creating something entirely new for the space sector — this is your starting point to turn it into a real business.
What is it about?
The Bootcamp prepares teams to apply for the ESA BIC Poland incubation programme — a gateway to Europe’s leading space startup ecosystem — and to start shaping their idea into a viable commercial venture. It’s all about exploring the business side of your concept: validating its potential, define your customers, and understanding how your solution could fit into the space sector and the wider market.
Through a combination of online workshops, one-on-one mentoring, and expert feedback, participants will explore:
- product development and defining an attractive value proposition,
- startup leadership and team roles,
- understanding customer needs and early acquisition strategies,
- methods for successfully entering the market,
- pitching and fundraising basics.
All content is tailored to the unique conditions and opportunities of the space sector, helping you prepare a strong application for the ESA BIC Poland incubation programme.
Who is it for?
We’re looking for motivated teams of 1 to 4 people who already have an innovative idea related to space technologies. You don’t need a completed business plan or investor-ready pitch deck — just a clear concept, strong motivation, and a willingness to test, refine and develop your idea into a commercial opportunity.
Your idea could involve:
- applying space technologies in other sectors (e.g. transport, agriculture, climate),
- working with satellite data — Earth observation, navigation or telecommunications,
- developing technologies that could be used in space (hardware, software, systems, materials, etc.).
This is an opportunity for the most promising ideas and motivated teams to take their first real step into the space business with dedicated expert support. Up to 10 teams will be selected to take part in the ESA BIC Poland Bootcamp.
When and how?
🗓️ 15–29 September 2025
The ESA BIC Poland Bootcamp combines online and on-site activities, scheduled for just a few hours a day so you can easily fit them into your calendar:
- 4 days of practical online workshops guided by experienced trainers,
- an online pitch training session to help you shape your space-idea,
- individual online mentoring tailored to your project and development stage,
- final on-site day in Warsaw (September 29) — with a pitching session in front of ESA BIC Poland partners, space community members, and a jury of experts, followed by networking.
Participation is subject to a symbolic fee of 99 PLN per person.
How to apply and what’s next?
- Read the documents — regulations, information on the processing of personal data, and the application form.
- Gather your team — between 1 and 4 people.
- Submit your application form by 31 August 2025 (end of day).
- Wait for confirmation — teams will be informed by e-mail about the reservation of their place after the application is accepted. If the limit of places is reached, the Team may be added to the reserve list.
- Pay the participation fee — PLN 99 per person within 3 days from receiving the booking confirmation. Payment details will be provided in the confirmation e-mail. Failure to pay the due payment by the participant within the prescribed period results in cancellation of the seat reservation.
- Take part in all Bootcamp activities — at least one team member must be present at each workshop.
- Pitch your idea in front of a committee of experts and get unique feedback.
